Chhattisgarh: Three naxals killed in anti-naxal operation in Rajnandgaon

Three naxal cadres were shot dead during a joint anti-naxal operation by 44 Battalion Indo-Tibetan Border Police and Chhattisgarh police late Wednesday.

Area committee member Mahesh, Pallemadi local organisation squad (LOS) Commander Rakesh and LOS deputy commander Ranjit were killed during the encounter in jungles of Kopenkadka area of PS Khadgaon in Manpur Subdivision.

All the naxals were the residents of Bastar and had reward of 13 Lakhs.

One AK, one SLR and one Indian New Small Arms System rifles have been recovered so far.
