China is set to supply another 50 JF-17 Thunder fighters to Pakistan over a period of three years, according to Radio Pakistan.
The Head of Chinese Aircraft Industry said that a total of 110 JF-17 Thunder aircrafts will be provided to Pakistan by China under a contract signed between the two countries, reported The Express Tribune.
The jets symbolize friendship between Pakistan and China. A fleet of eight JF-17 Thunder jets had escorted the special plane of the Chinese President Xi Jinping when it entered Pakistan's airspace.
Beijing and Islamabad signed more than 50 agreements, worth 28 billion dollars, on April 20.
