Chinese authorities detain 11 people over Tianjin explosions

Chinese prosecutors have detained 11 people over the massive warehouse explosions that killed at least 139 people.

According to ABC News, the national prosecutor's office said that they are accused of dereliction of duty and abusing their positions.

Police have also detained 12 executives from Ruihai International Logistics and another company.

The blast that took place on August 12 destroyed hundreds of homes after it sent a huge fireball in the sky.
