A dozen staff members of a Chinese company were forced to crawl in public as a punishment for not fulfilling the targets assigned to them.
The incident took place on October 2nd, during the week-long national holiday in China.
Employees were forced to finish a lap around Ruyi Lake, a 23-acre pond in the district, by crawling.
Images show a dozen staff members advancing on their hands and knees next to the 23-acre pond in the city of Zhengzhou, central China.
According to a Daily Mail report, the representatives of the staff said that the task was a punishment set by their company because they had failed to hit their sales targets.
Eyewitnesses said that the shirts and trousers of employees were torn during the humiliating punishment and at least one employee was seen crying.
