Chinese company LeTV has launched a smartphone Le after marketing the phone in an advertisement that compared Apple to Nazism.
According to the Verge, the company had launched a poster two weeks back that showed Adolf Hitler giving the Nazi salute while wearing an armband marked with Apple logo.
LeTV CEO Jia Yueting apologized for invoking Nazis to shill electronics saying that he meant "-ended technology ecosystems are more beneficial to consumers".
At an event Monday evening in San Francisco, Jia described the company as "an open, vertically integrated ecosystem for how content is distributed and experienced".
