Chinese Premier invites Prime Minister Modi to visit Beijing

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who met Chinese Premier Li Keqiang here on Thursday, received an invitation from the latter to visit Beijing.

During his meeting with the Chinese Premier, Prime Minister Modi said the recent visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping will be remembered as a memorable visit.

The Chinese Premier described President Xi Jinping's visit as a high success.

"Visit to India by President Xi was a high success," PMO's twitter handle quoted Premier Keqiang as telling Prime Minister Modi during the meeting.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Modi met his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev and Philippines President Benigno Aquino.
