A university in central China's Wuhan city has come under investigation after it was reported that it had been hosting a brothel on campus.
Students from Wuchang Polytechnic School have filed complaint to local police that a hotel next to their dormitory was offering paid sex to students, China Daily reported.
The students alleged that the hotel, run as school property, operates a foot bath club and were blatantly promoting their "special services" saying discount would be offered if students could show their student ID cards.
Investigative reporters from the Beijing Times confirmed that the hotel, which was owned by the brother-in-law of the college's principal, did host prostitutes.
Police have closed down the foot bath club inside the hotel and its management has been taken away for further investigation.
