Legendary Pakistani cricket commentator and journalist Chishty Mujahid has said that Pakistan should not have underrated Zimbabwe during their recent tour, in which it lost a Test and an one-day international game.

Widely regarded as the grand old voice of Pakistani cricket, Mujahid, whose name has become synonymous with Pakistani cricket's best known triumphs, had covered Pakistan's recent tour of Zimbabwe as a TV commentator, www.Pakpassion.net reports.

Although he did not think that there was anything wrong with the Pakistani team, Mujahid however, said that Pakistan should have guarded against underrating Zimbabwe as despite their numerous on and off-field problems, the team has a crucial blend of youth and experience given that they had also played against Pakistan as recently as 2011.

According to Mujahid, although the African nation does not have players with 80 Test matches or 4000-5000 runs, they have played some good players against Pakistan with distinction including Brendon Taylor, Hamilton Masakadza, Vusi Sibanda and others.

However, Mujahid called the tour 'squeaky clean', saying that Pakistan was a well-behaved and a popular side and went about their way with purpose, and rubbished rumours at misbehaviour from the tourists.
