Chris Brown and Drake have escaped paying 16 million dollars in damages following their infamous nightclub brawl last summer.
A New York judge has ruled that the two entertainers could not be held accountable for damages to the trademark of Greenhouse venue and don't owe a penny to Entertainment Enterprises, the Sun reported.
The judge said that the duo had no duty to the club to behave especially since it didn't even take place on the Greenhouse premises.
He said that nightclub brawls are commonplace and the Entertainment Enterprises can't just launch legal action every time a fight breaks out.
Their violent fight was allegedly sparked after Drake sent Brown a note saying, "I am f****** the love of your life", in reference to his rival's former girlfriend Rihanna.
