Chris Brown, who was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run earlier in 2013, was allowed to go scot-free and cleared of all charges after reaching a civil compromise with the victim of the mishap.
According to TMZ.com, the prosecutors were not in favour of the decision and suggested that the controversial singer should be punished severely for his vehicular misdemeanor.
The publication claimed that the female victim did not demand any money as the damage was so minor, and that the owner of the car, which was hit, wanted the case to end.
However, an LA attorney objected to the decision and told the judge that since Brown was very aggressive toward the victim after the accident and was on felony probation, he should not be let go that easily.
But, the judge did not agree with the attorney's argument and dismissed the case.
Brown's lawyer, Mark Geragos, told the gossip site that the case never should have been filed in the first place.
