Chris Brown has suddenly been let go, and is no longer a wanted person in the battery case.
Law enforcement sources have said that the person who had accused the F.A.M.E. singer of punching him during a basketball game in Vegas had called the authorities and told them that he wanted to drop all charges, TMZ reported.
The person did not give a reason as to why he wanted the charges dropped.
Earlier, cops had given the 25-year-old rapper two options, to sign a citation for misdemeanor battery, and agree to show up in court to face the charge, or, take his chances with the D.A who would decide whether to press charges.
Brown had recently settled a lawsuit over another fight during a pickup basketball game in an L.A. gym.
