Chris Martin is reportedly gearing up for a court battle with a magazine which has threatened to name an A-list star it claims he had an affair with.
A senior figure at the US magazine told the Daily Star that Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow's marriage has been under our microscope for the last few years.
He added that they have sources that have sent in details which paint a very different picture and the girl in question boasts her own showbiz career, is high profile and is one of singer's inner circle.
A source close to Paltrow said that even with these rumors of the cheating, the actress is determined that it will work.
UK newspapers have been not been able to release details of the claims for fear of facing legal action from the unnamed actress, who has links to England.
