Australian opener Chris Rogers is facing doubts over his future after he was forced to retire in the second innings at Lord's following experiencing dizziness.
The left hander was on 48 when he became unsteady and ultimately he had to leave the field.
Rogers said that he has been hit on the head plenty of times but he had never felt anything like the one at Lord's, News.com.au reported.
He insisted that although the dizziness stayed there for a long time, the doctors immediately rushed to the field and gave him advice on how to deal with it.
It was not the first time that Rogers was struck on the helmet. Arriving in England before the commencement of the Ashes tour, Rogers had spoken about his fears for his long-term health after suffering concussion.
He was also forced to sit out of the Test series in the West Indies, after he was hit on the helmet during batting practice.
