Christopher Walken is set to join two movies named 'Nine Lives' and 'Eddie the Eagle,' it has been revealed.
The 72-year-old actor will be joining Kevin Spacey in EuropaCorp's high-concept comedy 'Nine Lives' directed by Barry Sonnenfeld, written by Daniel Antoniazzi and Ben Shiffrin, Deadline.com reported.
The movie tells the story of a workaholic businessman (Spacey), who must figure out how to redeem himself, after a terrible accident leave him trapped in the body of his family's cat. Walken plays Felix Grant, the owner of a mystical pet shop, who assists the businessman during his feline time of stress.
While, Eddie the Eagle tells the true story of Britain's first Olympic ski jumper, Michael Edwards (Taron Egerton), who rose to fame as the very-last-place finisher in two events at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary.
In the film, directed by Dexter Fletcher and produced by Matthew Vaughn, Walken will play mentor to Hugh Jackman's character, who coaches Fletcher.
