Civil Aviation Minister invites France to participate in 'Make in India' initiative

Union Minister for Civil Aviation Ashok Gajapathi Raju, on his visit to Paris has invited France to participate in the 'Make in India' initiative as well as the upcoming 'India Aviation 2016'.

A release by the Ministry of Civil Aviation stated that the minister, who led India's delegation at the 51st International Air Show in Paris, discussed issues relating to the aviation sector with French Minister for Transport, Marine Affairs and Fisheries Alain Vidalies.

During their talks, the two leaders also discussed manufacturing, infrastructure development and investment into India's aviation sector.

During his visit, Ashok Gajapathi Raju also met the senior management of top aviation companies like Bombardier, Boeing and SAFRAN.
