Australian skipper Michael Clarke has accused the England and Wales Cricket Board for specifically preparing pitches according to their bowlers' comfort following his side's failure to retain the Ashes.

The 34-year-old said that he has got a feeling after having conversation with the groundsmen, adding that they seems to be little disappointed as they were not fully succeeded in their plan.

Clarke, who has retired from the international cricket, said that he wanted to see good and fair cricket for both batters and bowlers, Sport24 reported.

Meanwhile, England skipper Alastair Cook contradicts Clarke's remark, saying that they won the Ashes series because they played better than the tourists.

Earlier, Clarke goes into retirement on a winning note as Australia defeated England by an innings and 46 runs at The Oval.

Despite host's humiliating defeat in the final Test, England claimed the iconic Ashes series 3-2.
