Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel said on Monday evening that the seventh Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit has attracted investment intentions worth of Rs 25 lakh crores.
Delivering a valedictory address at Mahatma Mandir here, Patel has said 21,000 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and 1,225 strategic partnership agreements have been inked during the two-day summit.
She said a state industry department committee led by the chief secretary will monitor the progress of MoUs on a monthly basis.
She maintained that global investors have reposed confidence in her government's ability to deliver on the proposed agreements.
Speaking on this occasion, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said the Gujarat model of good governance and development is point of discussion and added that development can be a reality if a good law and order situation prevails.
Gujarat, he said, is a shining example of smart planning and quick execution.
