Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has reportedly said that rival tech company Microsoft has been relying on the markets Apple built long time ago.

Wozniak said that Microsoft's chief Steve Ballmer's time was not as significant as that of Bill Gates adding that Apple's success is because of its innovative potential.

According to BBC, Wozniak was all supportive for Apple's current chief Tim Cook and said that founder Steve jobs had very strong feelings about what makes a company great and he more-or-less chose Cook to be in that role.

He further said that those who have been criticing the tech giant about not launching innovative products each year need to understand that great advances for mankind don't happen every year.

Wozniak further said that while Apple had great products and technology it is finding it tough to compete with Samsung, especially in emerging markets adding that the South Korean company has great marketing prowess in so many markets of the world that Apple was not in, the report added.
