Cold wave affects Railway, flight services in North India

Cold wave which was intensified by dense fog affected normal life in most parts of North India as the mercury dipped in many areas including Delhi.

Rail services were hit in the region with cancellation of over 60 trains. Around four flights were diverted in Bhopal.

After over a fortnight, Delhiites felt the much-awaited nip in the air as they saw a dense fog cover.

Both minimum and maximum dropped by about four degrees.

Mercury dipped in most parts of Kashmir Valley while the minimum temperature rose by six degrees in Leh town.
