Coldplay's album Ghost Stories has bagged the number one position on UK charts and has become the quickest seller of 2014 so far.
The band sold around 168,000 copies of its sixth album in its first week of release, beating previous fastest seller Paolo Nutini's 'Caustic Love' that sold 109,000 copies, the BBC reported.
The 20th anniversary edition of Oasis' debut album 'Definitely Maybe' made it to the fifth position, while Sam Smith, winner of BBC Sound of 2014 earned his third number one at the singles chart with 'Stay with me'.
DJ Mr. Probz grabbed number two position in the singles chart with 'Waves' while Fuse ODG was in third place with 'Dangerous Love' and last week's chart topper Rita Ora went on number four.
