After Manchester United star striker Wayne Rooney received death threats from Internet trolls in a bid to force him out of the club, his wife Coleen retweeted the threat and added the expression charming to it.

According to The Daily Star, some people warned the England striker that they hoped he would get shot and also sent messages to his wife Coleen and the mum-of-two retweeted it.

Fans appeared to be rounding on Rooney over claims he is set to quit for Chelsea and many think he is being disloyal to the Premier League champions, the report said.

The brutal message was instantly condemned by fellow tweeters and Luke McHugh wrote that the lad needed help while Karen Robinson said such people should be banned from social networking sites, the report added.

Despite the commendation, MrRoe1984 kept on Ranting and even referred to Wayne's alleged romps with hookers, the report further said.
