Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit on Saturday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of using the official media to portray and project himself, and added that the latter is trying to show himself as an extraordinary person was pathetic.
"Prime Minister is unnecessarily using official media to portray a personal self. In everybody's life, everybody's habit, there is something extraordinary. There is always something special that a person can share," Dikshit told ANI.
"Prime Minister trying to show he is something extraordinary is pathetic. It's sign of an extremely weak man. You have been elected to run the government, take this country forward, not to tell us what you had for breakfast, what you want to tell the children," he added.
"Your capacity is to articulate or to do certain things is a different part of character... He has not done a single thing in last 15 months which makes me feel him proud as a prime minister," he further said.
Prime Minister Modi is at present visiting Bodh Gaya which is coinciding with Day 3 of SAMVAD - the Global Hindu Buddhist Initiative on Conflict Avoidance and Environment Consciousness, during which the delegates for this event are present at Bodh Gaya.
