Congress alleges scam in Odd Even Formula, demands Kejriwal's resignation

The Congress Party on Sunday alleged that there is a scam going on in 'Odd-Even formula' put forward by the Delhi Government, and added that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal must take its responsibility and resign from his post.

"The transport system of Delhi is yet not ready to take the burden of the traffic if you stop the cars. I had warned that there will be scam in it. There is scam not only in three wheelers or in buses, there is a scam going on and that is why this hurry. Taking the responsibility, Arvind Kejriwal must resign," Congress leader Pramod Tiwari told ANI.

Earlier, Kejriwal formally unveiled the blueprint for the introduction of the Odd Even Formula, for vehicles that will ply in the city and those coming in from the National Capital Region (NCR) from January 1 to January 15, 2016.

Addressing a press conference in the national capital, Kejriwal said, "The government alone can't fight pollution; it needs the support of the people too. This initiative by this government has received all approvals. Even the Lieutenant Governor has approved this scheme. A notification will be issued on Monday.
