Congress leader Sandeep Dixit on Tuesday endorsed former union minister Arun Shourie's accusation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that he is more concerned of managing headlines instead of economy.
"Arun Shourie is an intellectual. He is also from right wing ideology, if he also feels that development is not taking place then it acknowledges what Congress has been saying," Dixit told ANI here.
He also accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of making speeches which make fake claims and ' publicity stunts' through television.
Launching a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA government, Shourie had earlier said that its 'lack of direction is making people miss Dr Manmohan Singh'.
Shourie, who was speaking at a book launch event yesterday, also accused Prime Minister Modi of managing headlines instead of the economy and said that such an approach would not work in the long-run.
