The Congress has reportedly requested the Election Commission for ordering registration of an FIR against Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and her arrest for an open threat by her at an election rally at Karoli to muster electoral support with impunity.

In a letter to the Commission, the party also demanded action against Raje for her alleged violation of model code of conduct.

Secretary of AICC Legal Department K C Mittal in his letter to the poll body claimed that Raje had said that let the elections be over, we will see who is cut into pieces at the rally.

Raje had allegedly made the comments while referring to the controversial remarks by Saharanpur Congress candidate Imran Masood in which he had allegedly threatened to chop Narendra Modi into pieces.
