Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday took a jibe at the Congress Party for their 'disappearance' from the battle field in Bihar and said that nobody even bothers about the grand old party in the state.
"I want to shift my focus and ask the Congress Party. It is evident that nobody bothers about them in Bihar," said Prime Minister Modi while addressing a rally here.
"The people of the nation should know that the Congress Party is also contesting the Bihar elections but has disappeared from the battle front. Neither they are there in the newspapers, nor are they visible on the television screens. They have given away 40 seats to NDA. For those 40 seats, there is no one to contest against the NDA," he added.
Prime Minister Modi, who has been pitching his agenda of development in the state, also fired fresh salvos at Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD boss Lalu Prasad Yadav.
