The Congress Party on Thursday alleged that the BJP-led NDA Government had tried to shift Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) leader Om Prakash Chautala from a Delhi jail to Bhatinda with the help of Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung and sought a clarification from Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this regard.

"The Prime Minister should clarify to the public on what type of alliance exists between the BJP and the INLD - as a party that had looked down on O.P. Chautala is now working for his parole and to transfer him from Delhi to Bhatinda," said Congress leader Ajoy Kumar at a press conference here on Thursday.

Speaking over Delhi Chief Minister Arving Kejriwal's meeting with INLD leader Dushyant Chautala recently, Kumar on Thursday said the stoic silence maintained by Kejiwal over the meeting was giving rise to a suspicion that the BJP, INLD and AAP were helping each other.
