Congress on Friday accused Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of mismanaging in his own state.

This accusation by the Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala comes few hours after UP CM Yogi Adityanath launched a scathing attack on the Congress by terming it a "symbol of devastation".

"Adityanathji believes in giving lectures rather than ruling his state. If he doesn't have mercy for the dying kids of his own constituency, what else can be expected from him?" Surjewala said, while terming the UP Chief Minister unfortunate for the development of the state.

"Under his rule the houses of Dalits were burnt in Saharanpur and he did not see it. The Chief Minister, who speaks only the language of division, separation and hatred, not development and construction, can't be expected to say anything better," added Surjewala.

Earlier on Friday, addressing a rally in Gujarat's Valsad, Adityanath censured Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi over his allegations against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Continuing his attack on Congress Vice President, Adityanath said that Rahul Gandhi was confusing people of Gujarat during his election rallies.
