Delhi Congress Chief Arvinder Singh Lovely on Thursday said that the party will not stop protesting until people of Delhi get relief from the ongoing power crisis. He accused the Narendra Modi's govt of taking Delhi two-centuries back and complained that it took them (BJP) twenty days to set up a meeting.
He also targeted AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal for lying about the electricity situation during his reign.
Congress workers today launched a protest against the ongoing electricity and water crisis in Delhi.
Congress leaders are also demanding Power Minister Piyush Goyal's resignation and have warned that the protest will not abate until the situation improves.
Congress leaders slammed the government for making false promises to the people and had demanded reduction in power bills. They said that the reason behind the protest was that under BJP's rule people are not getting power for seven to eight hours, unlike when Congress was in power.
