Convicted rapist and former Sheffield United striker Ched Evans' rape victim reportedly might have to endure yet further questioning about her ordeal with the Wales footballer.
The woman, who has since been forced to change her name and move five times after being hounded by internet trolls, might be interviewed again on demands of the specialists investigating an appeal against Evans, as part of a review of the case.
Evans' legal team made a submission to the Criminal Cases Review Commission in July and the review has been fast-tracked, the Mirror reported.
Evans has always denied that he raped the woman, who was 19 at the time. He was released halfway through his five-year sentence in October.
The attack took place in May 2011 after he and fellow footballer Clayton McDonald had been out in Rhyl, North Wales.
McDonald, who was cleared of rape, had sex with the woman at a hotel and when Evans arrived, he too had sex with her.
The striker claimed that it was consensual but the jury accepted the prosecution case that she was too drunk to consent, the report added.
