A police officer has claimed that he was fired after reporting a fellow cop's lewdly viewing of Whitney Houston's naked body.

The former SWAT officer Brian Weir said that he was demoted after he reported detective Terry Nutall for allegedly making vulgar comments about the late singer when he lifted the sheet covering her naked body, News.com.au reported.

According to earlier reports, Weir had filed his claims for damages against the police department and the city alleging that he was removed from the city's elite SWAT and K-9 units, denied promotions and training and relieved of supervisory duties after he reported the misconduct.

Houston's corpse was found in a hotel bathtub on 11th February, 2012, and the official cause of death was listed as accidental drowning, with heart disease and cocaine as contributing factors.
