A former SWAT officer has claimed that a Beverly Hills police sergeant had made 'inappropriate' comments at Whitney Houston's naked body after she was found dead.
Brian Weir alleges that a police sergeant pulled the sheet covering the pop icon's naked body "below the pubic region" and said that she "looked attractive for a woman of her age and current state", and he suffered professionally after he complained about the sergeant, the New York Daily News reported.
According to the legal papers, Weir filed his claim for damages against the police department and the city alleging that he was removed from the city's elite SWAT and K-9 units, denied promotions and training and relieved of supervisory duties after he reported the misconduct.
The former SWAT officer said the sergeant acted with reckless disregard for the integrity of the potential crime scene and should have known his behavior "would outrage ordinary family sensibilities".
The Beverly Hills Police Lt. Lincoln Hoshino said that the department was aware of the claim but couldn't comment further.
Houston's corpse was found in a hotel bathtub on 11th February, 2012, and the official cause of death was listed as accidental drowning, with heart disease and cocaine as contributing factors.
