Bill Cosby has caught a little break after a federal judge decided to delay efforts made by 3 Massachusetts women, who wanted to unseal a Pennsylvania sexual molestation case against Bill Cosby settled in 2006.
As per the Hollywood Reporter, the women, Tamara Green, Therese Serignese and Linda Traitz, claimed that the 77-year-old comedian defamed them when his agents denied that he had sexually abused them in the 1970s.
They hope that the lawyer for a woman who settled the earlier case can support their claims and they have subpoenaed her for documents.
However, the federal judge, who granted Cosby's request to put that subpoena on hold, won't release Pennsylvania settlement documents until a Massachusetts court decides whether to throw out the women's defamation lawsuit.
