Simeon Boikov, the young leader of the Zabaikal Cossack Society of Australia says that Vladimir Putin has been sent by God to save Russia.
According to Brisbane Times, Simeon Boikov and the Zabaikal Cossack Society of Australia group were kept away from a larger anti-Vladimir Putin demonstration across the Brisbane River in the CBD on Saturday.
Boikov, who is being closely monitored by ASIO, went on to call Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott a "fool" and said things would "end badly" for countries opposing Russia.
He defended the Russian president over the MH17 downing incident, saying that while Abbott was accusing Russia of shooting down the plane, he wasn't even aware of what happened there.
Boikov accused Europe of plotting ways to cause trouble and divide Russian-speaking people.
He said that God was with Putin and that he was sent by Him to save Russia.
