Council of Architecture announces public competition to select 'Logo for Architect'

The Council of Architecture (COA), constituted by the Government has announced a public competition for all Indians to select the "Logo for Architect".

Professor Uday Gadkari, President , COA, said during the press conference of the event that they are looking for a logo which expresses the character of an establishment and should be simple but catchy as well.

According to the guidelines of the competition, one person can submit only three entries and the winning entrant will take home the cash price of 1 lakh rupees, a trophy and a complimentary membership to Architecture Time Space and People Magazine for one year.

 

The winner will be announced in June and the seven-member committee is expecting few thousand entries for the competition.

Various professionals in India namely Doctors, Charted Accountants, Lawyers among others already have a logo which serves as their "Identification symbol".
