Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Friday at a lawyers meet in the capital said that the country was fed up of the UPA-led government and that the people would not be able to tolerate them for long.

"The country is fed up of this government and they will not be able to tolerate this for long," said Modi.

He also said that India was a democracy and that people had trust in the judicial system of the country.

"We are a democracy and there is trust in our judiciary. Yes, there are problems and issues of delayed justice, but still the world admires our system," he said.

"Also, it is extremely crucial to give importance to Human Resource Development in the country, just being a Law graduate is not enough," he added.

One of the lawyers present in the meet praised and appreciated Modi's presence in the meeting.

"Not only we advocates, the entire country knows it very well that you'll become next Prime Minister. You are the first politician who came to attend this meet and listen to the grievances of the lawyers," he said.
