US country singer Willie Nelson, who turns 81 on Tuesday, is set to receive a fifth-degree black belt for the modern Korean martial art of Gong Kwon Yu Sul.
Nelson will receive his recognition in a ceremony on Monday in Austin, Texas, People magazine reported.
He reportedly started practicing the martial art decades ago when he first arrived in Nashville and since then they have been a constant in his life.
Nelson told Men's Health in 2013 that it was a good form of exercise, especially as you get older.
