Communist Party of China leader Wang Jiarui on Friday called on External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj in the national capital.
Ministry of External Affairs official spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin took to twitter to share information of the meeting between the two leaders.
"India-China discuss exchanges between r states and provinces of China.Minister @SushmaSwaraj meets Wang Jiarui of CPC," he posted.
"1st visitor.CPC leader Wang Jiarui is 1st visitor to India following launch of "Visit India Year"," he added.
The visit by Wang comes two weeks after Swaraj's visit of Beijing.
