CPI (M) announces plans to hold plenum in December after 37 years

The Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) has announced that it will hold a plenum in December after a gap of 37 years.

It said in a statement that the plenum is being organized to assess organizational strength.

The preparations for the plenum were discussed by the CPI-M Central Committee during the last three days. The Central Committee meeting ended on Sunday.
