CREDAI NCR donates four mobile science labs

With an aim to empower young students and promote sustainable development across the country, the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of India, National Capital Region (CREDAI NCR) today donated four mobile science labs to 'Agastya Foudation'.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar facilitated 'Agastya Foundation' with the science labs on behalf of CREDAI NCR in an event organized at Panchayat Bhawan, Karnal.

"It is a very unique and prestigious initiative taken up by CREDAI NCR and Agastya Foundation. Mobile Science Lab Vans would help school children know the various aspects of Science and its wonders and will help generate a curiosity in their minds. I thank our Deputy Commissioner for conceptualising this," Khattar said while speaking on the occasion.

 

"For the betterment of citizens of Karnal who live in unauthorised colonies, we have decided to create and maintain basic infrastructure like water, roads, electricity in these colonies. We thank CREDAI for offering their support in this initiative as well. Their expertise will help us serve the people of Karnal better," he added.

The 'Agastya Foudation', a charitable education trust that runs the world's largest mobile hands-on science education program for economically disadvantaged children and teachers, will help disadvantaged students of various government schools to learn science through experiments.

Talking about this unique initiative, CREDAI National president elect Getamber Anand said India is a young nation whose future lies on the strong shoulders of these students.

"It, therefore, becomes our responsibility to educate them today for a brighter future ahead. We are extremely happy to do our bit to shape India's future. We have started with a small step but promise to continue it for the betterment of our society," said Anand.

"We thank the honourable Chief Minister for his support and his august presence on this occasion," he added.

CREDAI NCR president Rohit Raj Modi on his part said every corporate must contribute towards making its society strong and there cannot be a better way than to educate and empower its students who are the future of India.

"We are a country represented by stalwarts like Dr. C V Raman, Aryabhatt and Dr. Kalam; we are confident that these students would carry forward the legacy of these laureates and make us proud. Indeed, this is a proud moment for us," he added.
