Local workers have removed the crucial debris and human remains of the Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 jet in eastern Ukraine where the plane was downed in July 2014.
According to the BBC, the team overseen by Dutch investigators targeted areas of the plane where most of the bodies are still indentified.
The Dutch Safety Board said that the operation could take days and the wreckage would further help in the investigation into the cause of the crash.
The debris and human remains will be examined in Netherlands.
The Investigators from Netherlands wanted to retrieve the debris themselves but due to safety concerns, they agreed to work with the rebel administration instead.
