CSKA Moscow has hit back at Manchester City player Yaya Toure's claim that he was racially abused during his team's Champions League victory over the Russians, insisting he is exaggerating.
According to Metro.co.uk, the Ivory Coast midfielder demanded UEFA takes action against the Russians after monkey noises were reportedly directed at him from the stands.
However, CSKA's deputy media manager Michael Sanadze said that there was no subject to discuss as nothing special had happened.
He said that there was a lot of noise in the stadium and nobody else, other than Yaya Toure, heard anything, adding that the only trouble that has come about was because Yaya Toure heard something.
CSKA striker Seydou Doumbia also said that he did not hear anything like that from the fans.
