FX India is all set to bring IndianTV audiences one of the biggest cult show ' Doctor Who,' starting 15 May 2015.

According to the Mirror, leaked Sony emails have hinted at plans of turning the series into a Hollywood film "within 8 years" as there is "tremendous interest" for the BBC sci-fi show to be transformed into a movie.

Originally started in 1963, and revived in 2005, Doctor Who is the world's largest running sci-fi series spread across 98 countries and 77 million fans and has become a cult favorite among many. It even holds a Guinness Record for the largest simulcast of a TV drama. Over the years, thirteen actors have featured in the series as the Doctor.

A possible film in the pipeline begs the question of who will star as the Doctor and who he will be fighting.
