A man named Francois Gissy has shattered world record by covering a quarter of a mile in less than 7 seconds on a rocket-powered bicycle.
The self-proclaimed 'rocket man' hit 207mph in 4.8 seconds with help of a stripped-down adapted bike, with three rocket engines during the motor racing circuit in Le Castallet in France, the Mirror reported.
In a video, the cyclist is seen shooting out and covering the distance on the bike, which was designed by Gissy's pal Arnold Neracher and had even left a Ferrari sports car trailing.
