Dinesh D'Souza, the conservative commentator and filmmaker, indicted by a federal grand jury on Jan. 23 on charges of using straw donors in 2012, has reportedly said that he won't be intimidated by his indictment earlier this month on campaign-finance charges.
Referring to his yet to be released documentary film titled "America", D'Souza said that he would proceed with his work and ideas, adding that the film will be unimpeded by what has been going on.
A former policy adviser to President Ronald Reagan, the Mumbai-born filmmaker was accused of making illegal contributions in the names of others and for causing false statements to be made, to which, D'Souza pleaded not guilty and has been evading imprisonment by paying a bail amount of 500,000 dollar, Newsmax.com reported.
The filmmaker was in news after his 2012 film "2016: Obama's America", criticizing President Barack Obama garnered 33 million dollars at the box-office.
