As the Delhi High Court asked him to join the probe in a case of disproportionate assets against him, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Wednesday said his enemies have made a false case against me, but truth prevails.
"Truth always prevails. My enemies have made a false case against me," said Singh, told the court that he was willing to join the investigation and cooperate with the agency.
"I have already deposed before the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in this connection which had videoed his statement for almost two and a half hours," he added.
Justice Pratibha Rani of the Delhi High Court, however, directed the CBI not to arrest him.
The court decision came while disposing of CBI's plea seeking vacation of a Himachal Pradesh High Court's interim order restraining the agency from arresting, interrogating or filing a charge sheet against Singh in the case.
The CBI had on Tuesday told the court that investigation in the case was seriously held up due to the interim order.
