The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) on Monday alleged that the Samajwadi Party and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) were behind the Dadri lynching incident as they wanted to take political advantage of the case.
"Our party has been saying this, the Samajwadi Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party create communal violence. They wanted something similar like Muzaffarnagar riots for political gain in the Bihar election," BSP leader Sudheendra Bhadauria told ANI.
"They wanted to create bloodshed, but the people were alert. After this report, the intention of the Samajwadi Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party has become clear that they did this for political gain," he added.
In a major revelation in the infamous Dadri lynching case, the report submitted by the chief veterinary officer said that the meat found in the victim's house was mutton and not beef.
The veterinary officer in his report said, "Prima facie it seems that meat found in Dadri lynching victim's house belongs to goat progeny."
The report also said that samples have been taken for final diagnosis, and have been sent to the forensic laboratory in Mathura.
