Former Scottish footballer Kenny Dalglish has said that Manchester United may have to surrender the Premiership title this season, and that has nothing to do with the failure to make a statement in the transfer window.
According to the Mirror, Dalglish expressed that Rooney would have to become a goal scoring force once again, if the Old Trafford club has a chance to challenge for the title.
The former footballer also said that it would be very hard to replace someone like Alex Ferguson and his absence would be a big change for everybody involved with the club.
Dalglish added that clubs like Manchester City and Chelsea could finish above United in the table with their revitalized sides.
