The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday caught a Daman Police sub-inspector red-handed while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 60,000.
The CBI had registered a case against the arrested under section 7 of PC Act, 1988.
The investigation agency laid a trap and caught the accused red-handed for demanding and accepting the bribe.
Later searches were conducted at the premises of the accused.
The arrested accused was produced today before the Designated Court.
