Anjali Damania, who quit the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) earlier today, said that AAP leaders have 48 hours to come clean and apologise to party volunteers.
"We have had enough of nonsense. Arvind, Prashant Bhuishan and Yogendra Yadav should beg apology to the party workers within 48 hrs for their acts. I demand an inquiry within 48 hours into all the allegations against the party," said Damania.
"AAP is not a political party. It was a ray of hope for this country as thousands of people had slogged for it," she added.
Earlier in the day, Anjali Damania quit the AAP and criticized the internal friction within the party.
Expressing disappointment with the ongoing infighting in the Arvind Kejriwal-led party, Damania had announced her decision to quit and said that she had not joined the AAP for 'this nonsense'.
"I quit, I have not come into AAP for this nonsense. I believed him, I backed Arvind for principles not horse-trading," she tweeted.
Damania's move comes in wake of majority of the AAP legislators signing the petition seeking the expulsion of party 'rebels'Shanti Bhushan, Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav.
